Double your money

It is so amazing…this concept of home (or any premises from where you operate) representing every aspect of your life and the opportunities to correct the flaws around you to straighten the mess in your life. While studying and doing research in the ancient Chinese science of geomancy I came across an explanation that is so simple that it borders on absurd. Yet, it is so true! Much before the research grew into a solid body of rules and principles, the scholars started co-relating the changes in the surroundings of the royal palace with the changes in their lives and recording them on bones and parchments. An annex to the Palace was, perhaps, linked with annexing an entire township months later. Building a toilet in the Children’s corner was, perhaps, the Feng Shui cause for the talked in whispers miscarriage by the Chinese queen. I often wish I were a part of this research several thousand years ago. Perhaps, I was.

When I first learned about this over a decade ago it seemed like coming across something one had misplaced and forgotten. It was as if I had always been into Feng Shui. Perhaps, I always was.

My wife sometimes says that she believes that she was a Rajput Princess in her past birth who spent her life in Udaipur’s Palaces. And I think that I was a Feng Shui Master. I only rediscovered my true self. People love Feng Shui and the changes Feng Shui brings in their lives because the changes are for better. You get more out of life. Removing the clutter that always gathers negative energy around it is the basic. Feng Shui begins from here. Clean surroundings attract positive energy followed by good luck. The more complex methods of reorganizing the placements of one’s worktable or cash counter, if done properly, spells more gains. And who doesn’t want more?

The popularity of my Greedy Dragon Of Ambition is proof, if proof is required, of the basic human instinct of wanting more. The success of another painting of mine the Peak is evidence of the very same human need; of greed. While I never suggest both Feng Shui cures to anyone I always grin when someone asks for both. Not many do. But I have seen that two are better than one.

I remember Darian who exercised free will and asked for both and benefited in a big way. He wanted to invest in real estate and wanted safe, regular gains. "Security is more important to me. Of course, my investment should grow. Who doesn’t want profits?"

As a part of the Feng Shui of his home, a 3 bedroom apartment I suggested the painting of the Peak as his priority was career growth. He smiled and said, "I was hoping you will suggest your Greedy Dragon Of Ambition."

"You can use the Dragon, instead."
"I want both." Darian was firm.

The Peak in the Career sector and the Greedy Dragon in the Helpful Friends sector was the way he got his Feng Shui completed. This happened a year ago. He was a faded memory when another client, very recently, insisted on both. I recalled Darian and phoned him out of curiosity.

"I am at fault. I should have called you. The benefit to me was many times more. I was planning to invest my savings in a small residential property. But as I could get loan, I acquired a larger residential flat on the ground floor. I got it converted into commercial premises and leased it to a financial institution. I repaid the loan from the deposit I got and will continue to get rent, a handsome amount, for the next 11 years. Here is the good news. The road outside my shop is being widened and connected to the highway! As soon as this project is completed the value of my property will multiply. Even now the value has risen by 50 percent which, in less than a year, is a windfall." Darian told me. These two paintings have doubled his gains!
