Feng Shui Miracles

I am happy that more and more people are ‘coming out of closets’ and officially endorsing and recommending Feng Shui to others. Even the media has become much more positive in its approach. Last week, NDTV Profit did a 15-minute feature on me. Shooting for this episode was a different experience this time. One of those who have benefited from Feng Shui, Pammi Chopra faced the camera and talked about how Feng Shui helped her. Said this charming Punjabi woman on TV, “We were really in a lot of problems. My husband was a captain on a ship but he had risked his job and resigned to enter the then-booming dotcoms and software industry. Somehow, everything went wrong. Nothing worked out and he was getting restless. He wanted to return to his ship, but that was simply not happening. With Feng Shui, within weeks, he got an even better opportunity as a Master on another ship. Our problems were over.”
I wrote about Pammi Chopra and her husband Arvind, at that time, and forgot about it. She went on suggesting Feng Shui to her brother and then, to some other relatives. Last week, when the TV guys wanted someone who had experienced Feng Shui’s impact, she welcomed them, graciously allowed the TV cameras into her house and smiled in front of the cameras. Pammi is one of several people who are willing to come out and speak about the impact of Feng Shui with conviction, with optimism and with a positive air around them. There are many others.
Nitesh (name changed), another person who works for a media company and has seen the results of Feng Shui, is going to write his first-person account. First, he got a company car and soon within a couple of months, he got a promotion and a rise in salary. I will not disclose his name for the time being and will wait for his first person account. What I like about Nitesh is his desire to make everyone happy, though this is an effort that sandwiches a man between two diametrically opposite forces.
How difficult it is for a man to make peace between his warring mother and equally aggressive wife, only someone who has lived through this hell can imagine. Nitesh’s situation is more complex, but knowing his positive attitude towards life and everyone around him, I pray for success and more important, happiness and harmony in his life.

Kamini Sharma from New Delhi had a different, very positive experience within days of consultation, and is now offering her photograph along with her first-person account for the world to know, and she still wants something more from Feng Shui. (I like such people, who have ‘greed’ and ‘ambition’ for more. My Greedy Dragon of Ambition is for them.) Sharma had rented out the first floor of her house to a French woman in her mid-sixties. This woman had some clout in political circles and though she had agreed, on a stamp paper, to vacate the property in July, she had stubbornly refused to leave. Worse, this woman filed a false complaint against Kamini’s brother. “I was in your office on the very day my brother was being harassed,” Kamini now reveals. Her brother was picked up by the police and interrogated on the false complaints. “After Feng Shui consultation in which you advised me to place a black tourmaline rock in a particular place, everything changed. The French woman mysteriously returned the deposit and left my premises. It was within less than a month of my visit to your office in Mumbai,” says an amazed Kamini. What scares me is the confidence Kamini now has in the ‘magic’ of Feng Shui! She now wants to recover the Rs 6 lakhs she has loaned to an underworld figure in the north. He is now serving a sentence in Tihar Jail, almost ruling from his cell!
Where the passion has gone?
The story of Manisha, besides being a close encounter of an unconfident girl eager to find her Mr. Right with Feng Shui help, also focuses on a little-known aspect of Feng Shui consultation. What happens when a person changes her house after Feng Shui consultation? Should she keep the Feng Shui products in the same direction as before, and will it work? Alternatively, should she have sought consultation again? “I had consulted you in the beginning of this year, regarding my marriage and you had given me the Double Happiness symbol and a painting called ‘Moon Energy’. I was at my sister's house then and you had guided me accordingly where to place them. About a month later, after I placed the paintings, I met this nice person through shaadi.com.
Everything was going great. We felt a connection. We were comfortable with each other, and I finally felt like I had found the right person. My parents were visiting the US and he met them in Sept as a probable candidate for marriage. The only issue we had was that he lives with his family, and I didn’t want to move in with his family and he didn’t want to move out.
That is what kept delaying the whole matter. Anyways, now, last month, I even told him that I was willing to move in and he told me that he mentioned to his mother that he is seeing me. I thought that now he would introduce me to his parents, but all of a sudden, yesterday, he sent me a text message saying that he needs a break and some time to do a rethink. He felt that we are losing the spark and are dragging/forcing this. I asked him if he wanted to break up or just take a break. He said he wanted a break but he did not give me any time for the break. In addition, he said that if I want to meet other people in the meantime, I could do so. I do not know what happened to him all of a sudden. For the past two months, he has not seemed as interested as he was initially when we met. I had placed everything as you suggested in in Feb 2007 but in July 2007, I moved out to my sister's house and rented a basement of a house. There, I was not sure about the directions of the painting and the marriage symbol. Also, the basement room that I am renting has lots of long mirrors. I am wondering if it is the change of room that has brought about this change in the relationship, where he is saying the passion is gone.
Apparently, the changed Feng Shui of the new surroundings immediately influenced the change in Manisha’s fortunes. The Feng Shui of each house is different and the placement of Feng Shui products too would differ. Not everything has to be placed in the same direction, as I combine several different schools of Feng Shui.
Manisha had to go for Feng Shui consultation again. You always have to repeat a Feng Shui consultation if you change your house. Every house brings with it a different destiny - good, bad or ugly. The right Feng Shui can improve it.
As I suspected, her new bedroom had very bad Feng Shui! She had moved in to look after her ailing sister and was using the basement to sleep and work. It was a cluttered basement, where the stair shot poison arrows at her door. As the family used the basement as a gym, there were gym equipments and mirrors around her bed. The energy was hostile to her love life! The corrections have been carried out last week and she is keeping her fingers crossed.
