Feng Shui for the wife helps the Husband!

This lady, who called me on my cell phone, was a Medical Practitioner in Mumbai. I thought she wanted consultation for her medical practice.
But she surprised me.
“I want you to focus on my creative side.” Dr Sudha said.
Creativity side, as far as a doctor is concerned, can be as varied as cosmetic surgery – for that matter, dental cosmetics too – or a maternity home too. And I have often given Feng Shui advice to doctors to improve their business.
But Dr Sudha was a painter too!
Being a painter myself, I warmed up to her.
She came up with some problem areas in her life. “Money is no problem with me and my medical practice is satisfactory. However, I crave for recognition as an artiste. I have been painting for several years and now I wish to hold a regular show. I want recognition and, more important, I want to sell my work.
My paintings are gathering dust in my house!
“Another problem area is my marriage. It is on the rocks. Our love life got over within less than a year of marriage. Now, we even sleep in separate rooms. We have become two strangers living together. My husband is a TV actor. I think he would have walked out long back but as his income is uncertain, he cannot risk it.”
This was a love marriage!
During my visit I noticed the place where her paintings were gathering dust. It was the Marriage & Romance corner of her bedroom! Her paintings projected gloom, her rather `permanent` mood. Most had sad situations with women in tears or waiting at the door with sad eyes or sitting alone on a rock…
Among several Feng Shui suggestions that I offered was shifting the paintings out of the bedroom and storing them stacked after dusting and wrapping them properly. “You have kept them in the Southwest of your bedroom!” I exclaimed. I also suggested mirror – usually taboo in bedroom in a particular place to increase the sexual activity.
And for the Fame & Recognition corner – for this unknown painter – I suggested my ancient Phoenix! Imagine advising a painter to buy the work of another painter…!!! But she was desperate and ready to follow all the suggestions.
The results amazed us.
Her actor-husband returned to her bedroom. Her love life improved tremendously. As for the Fame sector, surprises galore. Though the Fame corner was triggered keeping her painting in mind, it was her actor-husband who benefited. A failure till then, he started getting good media coverage before getting enough work.
“But my career in painting has yet to get a push,” said the doctor-painter.
“Well, let' s hope for the best,” I said.
