Revisiting Naomi Alvin

I must confess that I have a soft corner for Naomi. While I had given consultation to several high profile friends earlier, Naomi is technically my first professional consultation.

Feng Shui for the year of the Rat 2008

Here is wishing you all the success, prosperity, good health, love, happiness and everything else you want from life in the New Year. This year is even more important to me as I am also born in the year of the Rat.
While the New Year is beginning on 1st Jan, the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Rat begins on 7th Feb 2008, as per the western calendar. It is 4706 for the Chinese, whose calendar is over 2000 years older.

Yin-Yang

Yin-Yang symbolizes the ancient Chinese understanding of how things work.
The round exterior represents the totality and the black and white forms within the circle represent the two energies. The negative is called yin (black) and the positive is called yang (white). However, yin may not be negative and yang may not be positive. Yin is a necessity where it is absent and Yang is a requirement where it is not present to complete the harmony.
One can not exit without the other.

How to attract good luck

Prologue: In the last part of this column, I narrated the interesting success story of Rajesh Zaveri. That reminded me of the success story of a very attractive Zoroastrian lady Mahrookh Govadia, another addition to the growing list of similar stories. I have included it now. Every time I add a new success story, I touch wood. The growth of these authentic stories of real people, with their photographs, is a testimonial to the increasing impact and popularity of Feng Shui all over the world.

William

The initial effect may be sensed during the first lunar month after the first new moon. My experience is that it usually takes 3-9 months for the Feng Shui effect to become clear. However, there are happy instances when things have changed dramatically, miraculously within 48 hours too.

Is the direction of my main door favorable?

My main door looking from out side, it faces North. It’s a corner house facing a junction not directly. What should I do for better luck? I have not moved into the house yet. My date of birth is 27th June 1966.
Thanks
Pramjeet Kaur

Looking from inside it is facing south, and as south is one of the unlucky directions for you; you need to opt for Feng Shui consultation. The consultation will include the advice about shifting the door in your lucky direction without demolitions.
