Buying Feng Shui Products

Like in medicines, self-medication in Feng Shui too doesn’t always work.

Last week I had one such caller. She had bought a few Feng Shui items and had followed the directions given by a shopkeeper who had got an expert offering 'free' consultation. These directions didn’t work. How could they? These are simple, generalized directions being given 'to sell the products'. Southeast is for wealth & good fortune, south is for fame, and north is for career and so on. This is compass school of Feng Shui and popular due to commercial interests. They can’t sell their products without resorting to this simple, generalized guide. The truth is that your wealth & good fortune corner or any of the other eight areas depend on your date of birth, Pa Kua number and on the direction of your main door. For this, Feng Shui expert has to visit your house or at least see the plan of your house and know your date of birth and work out your Pa Kua number.

And by the way, enhancing various corners by using any of the Feng Shui cures (sound, light, colors, mirrors etc) is more effective than acquiring a mass-produced Feng Shui item without consulting one who knows.
