Choosing between two doors in Feng Shui
I am in the process of shifting into a different house. My problem is how do I distinguish which is the front door according to Feng Shui.
The house does have a front door facing a garden in front which is fenced. The house has a back yard with a gate which has access to the road. Therefore, if one drives into the compound he/she will enter the house through the kitchen door or the garage door. Do we take the kitchen/garage door to be the front door. Is it ok for one to enter the house from the kitchen. Please advise.
Ajay, Kampala, Uganda
Dear Ajay, you are lucky that you have a choice of two doors and as you are located on the ground, if need be you can even have a door from the other two directions if you choose to go for civil work. This gives you the opportunity to choose the direction of your door. Every person has four lucky directions and four unlucky directions. The ideal thing is to have the front door in the luckiest direction. One’s lucky and unlucky directions are derived from the date of birth.
To return to your main question, whatever door is chosen as `entry` and `exit` becomes your main door and if the main door is in one of the four unlucky directions (this include death direction also) then the entire house proves to be unlucky.
