Feng Shui and Interior Decoration, inherits a legacy

Every time you move into a new house (or shop or office), your life and luck are going to change. This also happens every time you change the interior decoration of the premises you’re in for a change. Whether the change is positive or negative depends on how right your Feng Shui is.

I’ll tell you the story of the Patels, a Gujarati family in Santacruz. Very recently, they have received several lakhs from the legacy of an old aunt of theirs who had lived like a pauper in a small town near Baroda. Before they did the interior of their house, the toilet of the Patels (name changed) was located in the Southeast and the Wealth & Good Fortune corner (according to the Black Hat Sect School) was incomplete. They stayed in this house for 11 years but never prospered. They had a shop from where they did their money lending business and ran a flourmill.

Their younger son, a dentist by profession, wanted to start his own practice in cosmetic dentistry, but didn’t have enough money to buy the expensive gadgets required for this business. He wanted to convert the shop where they had the flourmill into his clinic.

His elder brother had just got married. Patels renovated their house in consultation with me. This began the series of changes! “Earlier, there was always a problem with the payments. People would just avoid paying. Money would get blocked. Some would refuse to repay and the others would go bankrupt. But after these Feng Shui changes in the Interior Decoration of the house the money flow became smoother.” he told me.

Aunt leaves a fortune

And now, he has got `good` news! His aunt has expired. She was a childless widow. “We never thought she would have saved lakhs of rupees. She was an ordinary schoolteacher who was also running tuition classes. I don’t know whether to be mourning her death or be happy. She has left behind Rs seven lakhs and her house, and I have inherited all of it because I was her favourite nephew!” he grins.

Now, the flourmill has been converted into a dental clinic. And he is consulting me about where his table should be placed, where he should keep the cash and which direction the dentist’s chair should face.

Bankrupt after interior decoration sans Feng Shui

In contrast, there is a case where a Punjabi businessman went bankrupt after lavishly renovating his office. His biggest blunder was that he depended on his interior decorator for Feng Shui advice Only after he went bankrupt, approached me that that the truth came out. This interior decorator knew nothing about Feng Shui, had `annoyed the Duke` and also violated the rules about Saram Saat (The Three Killings) – two directions that should be left untouched as per Flying Star School of Feng Shui.

Before starting any renovation that involves hammering and breaking down walls, it is necessary to take note of the Grand Duke Jupiter. He should not be annoyed with the loud noises of hammers and drilling machines. Upsetting the Grand Duke brings bad luck.

It is necessary to locate his direction in your house, to get his support for the changes. To avoid any confrontation with him you should never sit facing that direction. Even if the Duke is in your best direction, you must avoid it like the plague. It would be even worse than facing your Death direction! The Chinese have always believed in this.

When making renovations, always make it a practice to hire two different persons, one for Feng Shui and the other, an architect, for the interiors, to avoid vested interests. Better still is the practice of getting Feng Shui advice before even talking to the architect, carpenters or contractors. A competent Feng Shui consultant can take into account the taboos according to the Flying Star Feng Shui and also the principles of the Compass School of Feng Shui, the Form School of Feng Shui and the Black Hat Sect School of Feng Shui. Thus he can give integrated Feng Shui advice about the placement and direction of the beds and cupboards, the children’s work tables, computers, kitchen platform and where the microwave-oven, fridge, gas-stove, toaster and various other items should be located. He can also tell you where the family jewellery and cash should be kept, the colours for the walls of the various rooms, the location of the temple and the remedies in case the toilet is in the Wealth & Good Fortune area or in the Southeast or for that matter in the Fame & Reputation area. And you’d never imagine that the placement of the dining table, its shape, the number of chairs around it and the sitting position of every member of the family are as important for your prosperity as the number of burners on your gas stove!
Don't forget that your main door is the mouth of your house from where the positive energy comes, bringing along with it good luck...and the right Feng Shui of the kitchen is as important as the health of your heart. Always consult a Feng Shui Master.
