Feng Shui was her destiny!

I have always believed that getting into Feng Shui and being a Feng Shui Master was my true destiny. And it is destiny that brings you to me. I experience it again and again.

A year back, a lady approached me for home visit but couldn't afford to pay my airfare to Ahmedabad. Yet, she was very keen that I visit her. I gave her several options including an offer to give her the Feng Shui advice after getting the floor plan of her small house. But she wanted me to come personally.

"Mohanji, whenever you come to Ahmedabad on your own visit my house," she pleaded.

Feng Shui was her destiny

I said okay but told her that it may be months before I come to Ahmedabad. Yet, within less than a week I flew to Ahmedabad due to a marriage in the house of my wife's close relatives! My visit was sudden and unplanned but I made it a point to go to her house.

Her life was to change after these Feng Shui changes and the changes were spectacular. A graduate from a local college, this Sindhi woman didn't have any business background. Her husband was abroad and for the last nine months had stopped sending the money to her. There was no communication between them. No e-mail, no letters, no phone calls. She had heard that he had got involved with another woman.

"What can I do?" asked the distressed woman. It was apparent that she didn't have much saving left and she had no source of income. This seemed the end of the road for her.

School tuitions, catering, fashion designing, beauty parlor...she had considered all but seemed uncertain.

"Something will happen..." I said more confidently than I felt.

Miracle Happens

Something did happen and very soon. Her telephone bell rang twice. She didn't know then but these two calls were to solve her problems.

The first call was from a friend of hers. Her friend had a ground floor shop to sell.

"I know you need to start the business and I'm off to Australia with my husband. You know that I have a running business of ladies wear. My shop can easily fetch me Rs 25,00,000. You can pay me part now and rest later..." she was offering a door to a new career, a running business on silver platter.

But paying even 10 lakhs too was out of question for my client. "I will try to organize something and come back to you. When are you leaving for Australia?" "In a month."

The phone bell rang. The man who hadn't answered her calls for 9 months was on the line! She didn't know what to say. She was confused, tearful, angry and in a way, relieved. He started apologizing and talking. It was true that he had got involved with another woman and was marrying her. He wanted out. The dreaded word `divorce` seemed less ugly as he suggested a `divorce by mutual consent`.

He returned!

"I have behaved like a fool. But I behaved like an ostrich, hiding my head in the sand, as I knew I was wrong. Mujhe tumhen munh dikhane mein sharam aa rahi thi. Mujhe maaf kar do." He went on.

With tears in her eyes she heard the words that would end her marriage but she realized that this was to be the beginning of her new life. He was offering her Rs 25 lakhs for her and another Rs 10 lakhs for her son! Rs 35 lakhs for freedom to marry again... But this seemed a Godsend solution to her. She agreed.

He immediately sent Rs 15 lakhs, as part settlement; by wire transfer and within 3 days she was in possession of the shop!

A year down the line, this shop is doing brisk business in Ahmedabad and she is planning to marry again. The man is a salesman already working in the same shop! Feng Shui has changed the life of three persons: my client, her son and her salesman boy friend.
