Feng Shui and Achieving Career Ambitions

The D-day for the show – my second - of my Feng Shui paintings is getting closer. My work will be on display on 9th, 10th and 11th November. The venue is Galleria at Andheri' s Lokhandwala Complex and I will be available at the gallery to tell you where exactly these paintings are to be placed. You are all welcome on any of these three days to take a look at my paintings. Done mainly in oil and acrylic each Feng Shui painting is unique.

For me, besides being the ancient Science of Geomancy that has changed the course of life of millions around the world, Feng Shui has become a scholarly, investigative, research oriented and creative field. In India, I' m perhaps the only consultant who paints for the clients. I have noticed that my paintings work faster than the regular, mass produced Feng Shui products but that can be easily explained. It is the intention that works.

The artisan preparing the idol of Lord Ganesha knows that the statue is an idol, is worshipped by millions. But when he is producing an alien God the intention is missing. He doesn' t have shradha, he doesn' t believe. An idol of Maitreya, manufactured by work force that does not have reverence for him may have negative energy. This is why you need someone to energize, to purify, and to sanctify any Feng Shui product.

I look at the painting scattered around me. I' d want to possess every one of them.

The Greedy Dragon of Ambition reminds me of a middle level marketing executive in multinational company (name withheld at the request of the company boss) who sent me an email. It read: “I have been reading your articles for a long time and though I was sceptic in the beginning I turned a believer when our CEO sought your services and as our company benefited in a big way. I too need your help. I want to make Feng Shui changes in my home and office. I' m a very ambitious person and work very hard but I am not getting adequate rewards. I am approaching you because you are the best!”

This gentleman worked in an MNC at Worli and was a go-getter. Besides the usual Feng Shui advice that I gave him to enhance his Career corner I painted a canvas for him; a canvas containing the image of the Greedy Dragon of Ambition! He placed it in his home on the wall I chose for it and soon things started happening in his Career. Due to some contacts he developed he could get a couple of film stars to endorse his company' s brand for an amount that was much lesser than they thought they would have to shell out; and this elevated his status in the eyes of the bosses. I don' t wish to go into the details, as this will make the identity of the people concerned known to the world. But my client was promoted and given a fancy title. He later informed me that he has joined another MNC as they offered him a better pay packet and generous perquisites! “If you have anything else that can help me rise further I would like to acquire that.” He said revealing the tendency of the Greedy Dragon of Ambition. I have painted another.

You will see this painting on display at the show. This is NOT your average dragon. The Greedy Dragon of Ambition is one who is not about to let any opportunity just pass him by. He does not believe in anyone being better than him and he will not be moved unless he wants to.

Hugging the Earth in his powerful grip, the Dragon jealously guards his treasure. This painting is for you if you are a high achiever on your way to the top. Those in the business say that nothing can slow you down once you have the Greedy Dragon by your side.
