Having a difficult time finding a life partner
Dear Mohanjii,
Thank you for your Feng Shui column. I have enjoyed reading your advice and tips on Feng Shui. Born on 11/27/1969, MUZAFFARPUR, INDIA, I have had horrible luck in the marriage and romance area of my life. I am having a difficult time in finding a life partner. I would like your advice on changing this situation of mine.

You may sleep with your head in Northwest and keep two red candles in southwest of your bedroom. Employing `Moon Energy` and placing my painting of `Moon Energy` will also benefit you a lot to get the right life partner.
Which direction should I sit facing as per Feng Shui?
Hello Mohan Bhai! I have started my business last year and operate from home at present. Facing which direction should I sit and what else should be done so that my business grows. My date of birth is July 3, 72.

Sanjaybhai, you should sit facing SE which is your sheng chi (success direction). If you are operating your business from home there are several do’s and don’ts otherwise the situation can become messy. To give you an example, water (or aquarium) in a business premises, if placed at the right place, can be very lucky. But it is taboo in the bedroom or in the Marriage & Romance direction. Similarly, you need to activate Yang energy for office and Yin for the bedroom.
How do I get a better job with the help of Feng Shui?
Dear Sir
I am a software consultant. I am 36 yrs old and I am now begining to do ok careerwise (though I am far behind my academic colleagues) as of now. Being a software consultant, I have to travel a lot. This essentially means that I stay in hotels, company guest houses or short-term rented accomodations. This also means that I am forced to stay away from my family. My family stays with my parents in Delhi and I get to see them for a week (if that much) maybe 6-7 times a year. As would be clear, though there is decent money earned, the family life suffers. I have tried for a job in the home town several times but I cant get a job in Delhi.
I live in the trans-Jamuna area of Delhi. The house I live in Delhi faces south, my room is the first room, with entrance to my room from the north side with the window towards south. I have had this problem with my career since we shifted to this house in 1997. Prior to shifting to this house I got very good jobs in Delhi. Could you help me please so I can at least stay in Delhi. We are three siblings. All of us have left for distant lands after we moved into that house

Dear BSB, there certainly seems some Feng Shui problem with the house as it is affecting all three of you. Keep a metal statue in the north of your house. However, it is not possible to give detailed suggestions from your description. I will need to take a look at the floor plan and will also need some photographs of the interior along with the date(s) of birth of all the members of your family, specially the siblings who have left for distant lands. This will be a professional consultation. You can write to me at md@mohandeep.com.
I feel lonely and suicidal. Can Feng Shui help me?
Hi, I am a 19-year-old student and I am very emotionally depressed. Ours was a joint family and now we've separated from our grandparents from the past 5 yrs. There were many problems in our family and I never got the love and affection I expected from my cousins and other relatives. After separation also I could not find the love and understanding I wanted from my parents as well as my friends. I cannot concentrate on my studies and sometimes feels like committing suicide because nobody understands me. I am in search of happiness. I feel very lonely.

Mansha, it is unfortunate that you didn’t get love and affection from your cousins and other relatives. But this is the situation for most families in the present day life style where small families are the norm and you should accept it. However, since you say that you haven’t received love from your parents and friends also, you must look at the Relationship corner (SW) of your house. You may keep family photographs or photographs of reunions, marriages etc in this part. Also hang a genuine crystal here to trigger the area. There also is another, alternate (but more effective) method to locate the Relationship corner but it is not possible to identify that corner in this column or to give effective Feng Shui advice. I will need to take a look at the floor plan and will also need some photographs of the interior along with the date(s) of birth of all the members of your family. This will be a professional consultation. You can write to me at md@mohandeep.com.
